Just stop. You are wrong. The entire league and media thought he was the guy. He still will be. Just stop.

Guys, which #1 picks in the last 20 years did anyone “build their team around”?
Lebron and…??? Maybe Anthony Davis?
Y’all didn’t actually think Cade was like Lebron did you?
Did Brad even try to make an offer for Patrick Mahomes? He’s a terrible GM. Fire him.

OP doesn’t care about injuries though, so…
You’re really comparing 6 points to 6 turnovers and god knows how many points allowed on defense? The comparison creates a negative +/- on the stat sheet no matter how you calculate it.
+/- from last night against the Cavs:
Knox + 15 Ivey -10
One is a two-way contract in the starting lineup, the other is a lottery pick who can’t play defense and threw the ball away 6 times.
The best thing I can guess (and we’d likely never know) is that no good, self-respecting NBA veteran wants anything to do with this team. It will take us developing young talent to attract any big free agent signing.
In an era where players build their own teams and superstars recruit their cohort, Cade Cunningham just ain’t that guy yet. He will be, but we are years away from that.
I can’t imagine our less-than-loyal fan base helps things either. You guys don’t think NBA players read social media chatter?
THANK YOU!
I’m not high on Killian either but he is great with the ball.
Jaden Ivey threw it away 6 times yesterday.
Great cap. Well said.
I feel like this is typical NBA. Young guys never get calls and vets do. You gotta earn the ref’s whistle in the NBA and I think they base their decision making on how many jerseys your name sells.
Not saying this is right or good. Just saying this is how it’s been for over a decade. This isn’t about Detroit.
The only TV provider I’m aware of that carries The Pistons is DirectTV Stream. That’s what I use.
I would do anything to have a veteran presence on this team. I promise we improve immensely when he gets back to health.
