Haliburton is great, this is no knock on him, grateful for everything he is doing especially in offense, even though his lack of defense is probably gonna get exposed in playoffs

But maaan, watching Fox in playoffs and last couple of games, I don’t think peak Haliburton will ever come close to his " 1 v 5 " potential. His team is by far the worst offense in NBA without him and by far the best offense in NBA with him, I have never seen someone so unguardable since Curry.

When I look at Hali, I say to myself, alright if we have another star / team performs well he is gonna be like the 2nd coming of Nash in offense and we need to hide him in defense.

When I look at Fox, I say to myself how can a guy singlehandedly beat an NBA team.

Yes, the Kings did trade the wrong PG. The kings have a positive +/- with Fox off the court. He doesn’t affect their game as much as the other players pick up his slack. The Pacers without Tyrese are negative.

So if we had Fox instead, we’d have a possibly better on-the-ball scorer(maybe) but no more no look assists, culture of fun, transition offense.

Tyrese was better for us and IS better for us, and will be the better player at the end of his career. Steve Nash was a league MVP and a top100 player. If he’s the second coming of Nash, even you know he’s better.

Kings is the worst offense in NBA without Fox and best offense in NBA with Fox. Your stat is just wrong because it only includes the games Fox plays I guess where he tires teams out by himself and they play against second unit etc. When Fox was injured Kings offense looked dogsht both statistically and eye-test wise

Bruh compared Fox to a 2 time MVP and the best offensive weapon in the past 10 years 😂😂

Both are great players but Tyrese is on track to average the most assists in 30 years on 50 40 90 splits. He’s averaging twice as many assists as Fox. Fox is a better interior scorer but I’ll take Haliburton every day of the week. He’s the best point guard of this generation.

I guess I’ll bite and take this argument at face value.

Tyrese is a better offensive distributor, and while he can’t average 30 like maybe Fox, he can certainly score enough AND close games. Also, he is singlehandedly changing this franchise on and off the court. Fox would not be doing that.

    Fox is great

But in regards to if we traded for wrong pg… then no.

Hali was still on his rookie contract. And is younger. Fits our timeline better

If we traded for fox, we’d have to be in instant win now mode.

So even if talent is equal, Hali would still be preferable

Clearly a Kings fan trying, hopelessly, to change the narrative that they f’d up big time.
