7-3 in the last 10

2 games behind the best team in the West and 3 games behind the best overall all without a single game with a fully healthy roster.

When we win, every Lakers fan says we’re the best team ever and don’t change anything. When we lose you switch up so fast to trade everyone and we’re the worst team since the inception of the NBA.

Until I see a fully healthy roster perform, I’m not blowing up the roster and crippling our future for an injury prone Lavine on a massive contract for the next few years. He definitely doesn’t move the needle for us especially if we have to move DLo + Rui/AR + picks.

Rui Gabe n dlo for Caruso n lavine definitely moves the needle what are you on?

Dlo can’t play in the 4th, Rui CANT START OR EARN MINUTES OVER VET MIN, Gabe is a tiny guard who’s pushing himself to be useful and now his injury is gonna mean he’s even worse . None of these guys are good players thst help winning Dlo is the most useful abd he’s unplayable when needed so??? Rui gets the 4th easiest defendibe assignment n workload in the league according to cranjis: guy can’t defend any wing or 2 guard they all cook him without even trying : he doesn’t do well. Rebounding or defending cebtres euther : he isn’t good enough offensively euther and can’t create shit commits offensive fouls every time n now out injured but he’s never played over 50 games .

    All 3 of those guys : Dlo ( 0-1+ epm) , Rui (-2/3~ epm I hope he’s even movable that’s awful for 17m bench player ), Gabe ; -1epm

Carudo +1-2, lavineO+3-4, this in harder scenario to succeed too. Ofc if you watch film you get why this is a big upgrade but I’m just going to list the most reliable all in one advanced stat available to public to make this point. Pelinka is a moron btw.

Welcome to being a Lakers fan. We’ve been like this for years. Even before Reddit

I wish we could have LeBron on our team without having his reactionary fans in here.

Real Laker fans that lived through the dark post-Kobe days aren’t freaking out, we’ve seen the bottom of the barrel.

This sub is so predictable. Half the fanbase is frustrated that we just had another embarrassing loss to a good team. The other half calls them doomers and reactionary and acts like the team is fine. Rinse and repeat. Both sides make good points. The truth is we’re not that good right now, beating the teams we’re supposed to beat while not even being competitive against the good teams we’re supposed to be on the same level as. But, we’re dealing with injuries and can’t build chemistry and continuity so we don’t know what this team actually looks like. We still shouldn’t be down 20+ points to good teams when we have our two best players on the floor. Ham hasn’t been great, but also we need to see what he can do with our full roster first. We’re just a mid team right now but it’s a long season.

The Lakers have championship expectations. This might be Bron’s last good year.

They currently sit at 8th in the West, routinely have bad 1st quarters, have been blown out multiple times, need heroic comebacks just to get a win, and have had their stars and most key players fully healthy and ready.

Also, were dreadful at many team stats.

Imagine if Denver had Jokic, Murray, MPJ, and KCP healthy…But Gordon missed a lot of time and Braun missed some time. We’re like that.

Vando wouldn’t necessarily have a guaranteed starting spot if he were playing! Sometimes his lack of offense hurts more than his defense helps. It’s not like we’re missing the 2nd/3rd part of a “Big 3.”

It’s because everything is always exciting and good lakers fans barely stomach any rebuilds as that’s not a thing, always have stars willing to come here no matter what.

Sometimes players stop trying in relatively meaningless regular season games. It’s not the end of the world. The sixers are really good and were at home.

    It’s hilarious.

One day: “Give Darvin Ham credit, he’s doing well despite injuries!”

The Next: “Fire Darvin Ham! Trade AD! Blow it up!”

Yeah that’s how SOME fans are. Usually the rational ones keep things pretty even keel, but there are a lot of fans that only show up when the team loses bad and they wanna scream and say a bunch of BS. Best to ignore them. Not that there aren’t problems. But we’ll beat Detroit by 20 and everyone here will be happy again lmao.

Correct. That being said, need some in-game changes when it comes to approach (esp the AD led minutes)

I got frustrated yesterday too because I don’t believe a team with Lebron James and AD should lose or give up that easily.

But I do think the BLOW IT UP type of arguments are stemmed from people seeing other teams on top of us just being jealous we don’t look playoff ready right now.

May or may not be true, but it’s not about the results. It’s about acknowledging the obvious.

Ham is the worst HC in the NBA. Your roster isn’t going to win anything w/ him at the helm.

Rob is a horrible GM. People want to give him his flowers for dumping the mess he started, and people act like the trade deadline was amazeballs for him, but it wasn’t. This is just stupid fan reaction nonsense.

What actually happened was the LAkers got stuck w/ players that other teams didn’t want, and don’t know how to win. It’s not about just TALENT at this level. People in here don’t get that. Rui, has talent, but he plays like a Rec player. Pass him the ball and forget about it, the ball is going up. Dlo doesn’t know how to win and do the little things, let alone play D. Vando plays hard, but has no offensive skills and a fairly low bbal IQ.

There’s a reason Rob “fleeced” these teams, as fans in here had been saying. But in reality that Lakers are stuck w/ contracts on players that won’t lead them where they need to go. Look at how the elite franchises build right now and what they covet. High Bball IQ players who can shoot and are willing to play both sides of the court.

How many of those players do the Lakers have right now?
