Need more Ausar at the 4 and I wouldn’t hate a small ball line up with him at the 5 for short stretches. Would love to see some PnR with him and Cade as well. Gotta make better use of this dudes athleticism
Ausar: 11/11/4/1/2 on 40/15/77
Rookie Dennis Rodman: 7/4/1/1/1 on 55/0/59
Dennis Rodman 1989/90: 9/10/1/1/1 on 58/11/65
Dennis Rodman was listed at 6’7 210 lbs. Ausar Thompson is listed at 6’7 215 lbs
People forget that Rodman wasn’t a dominant rebounder for a number of years. He became a star for his defense first, and for many years in Detroit that’s what he did.
By the time he started becoming a manic rebounder, he was already an All Star and 2xDPOY. Rebounding titles were his second act.
Bright spot, can’t ask that much more out of a rook. He loves the game so I have hope it’ll expand one day
16 rebounds last game, most would be happy to pull down 16 boards in a week
It’s cuz no team has a steadier supply of bricks every game
F’real tho this is awesome to see, guy screams Detroit Basketball
Jokic stat-padding again!
On a serious note, it’s impressive how many of these are offensive rebounds for Ausar. I have to imagine he’s leading the league in offensive rebounds per game.
Incredible. He shows flashes of eliteness every damn game.
San Antonio thought they were drafting the best center prospect. They were wrong.
Somebody post this on the main NBA Sub . Let’s show off our pistons
