That assassins should have been in a better place to counter adcs during both seasons this year. As an ADC main, I may say it and some of my people think I’m betraying them… but hear me out.

Assassins were not even a threat. Still aren’t based on the current patch. Adcs lost Shieldbow as a Mythic, the overall value of that item is super low and the shield is mediocre at best… that alone should have made Assassin picks more desirable… still, nothing.

Adcs were left uncheked for the whole year, worse, it wasn’t even because Riot moved their fingers to make IE less of a bad item, nor Guinso’s rework. It was the fact that Assassins can’t survive against the current meta midlane.

Oriana & Syndra and the ocasional Malzhar breaks their ability to snowball, Assassins can’t lane at all until they finish Hydra and starts to sustain from the poke. As an ADC I’m more scared of a K’sante flash R into me than a Zed or Qyiana, and that’s something unbelievable.

I have ptsd everytime a Tank main is happy with any change. If they’re happy, no one else is.

It’s the only class that the more depressed they are, the better the game is. And it should be kept that way.

I mean, just open any jungle or toplane subreddit and see how people react to any change. It’s all “phreak doing great today, i hope he’s run over or smt”.

Not to mention content creators literally blaming him for everything.

I guess communicating clearly with the community doesn’t sit well with unemployed streamers. Yeah.

That Jax being able to build Zhonias is beyond optimal, it’s intended by riot…

Have you ever noticed how peole that are grinding elo are either playing jungle or playing toplane with Jax in their champion pool? Yeah, there’s a reason for that.

I hate playing against Jax. Ever since his mini-rework his abilities, his autos, his whole kit in general got stronger. To a point that Riot nefed his mana as a way of safety… Turns out when I played him in low diamond, it didn’t take any effort to carry games.

I mean, low diamond is quite easy since the introduction to emerald and how people of all skill levels are now blended in… but that does not diminishes the fact that playing Jax for the first time and winning 5 games in a row was easy. I couldn’t even ward + Q and I still win trades. Maybe it’s the fact that he can incorporate Zhonias into his 3rd buy… or maybe it’s because he’s busted with Sunderer.

Either way, he is broken beyond measure. He doesn’t need a nerf, he needs AP scaling removal.

I mean… MR and Armor are super cost efficient. Way too much efficient IMO… Funny double cloth armor buy go brrrrrrr.
