Listening to Monty press conference gives me the impression that he is not impressed with this roster. He’s only working off of what Troy put together which doesn’t match Monty vision. Best to get a GM that’s on the same page and timeline as the head coach and plan for the future.

there are like 3 guys max that deserve to be on this team. also trade cade before you pay him, he’ll never carry this franchise
I think the writing has been on the wall for a while now. They were in asset accumulation mode drafting BPA for a reason. We have a few guys worth keeping and need to move the rest.
Orlando basically did the same thing and its worked out pretty well.

Troy’s biggest blunder besides tying up first round picks was his immense passiveness in free agency.
His lack of decisiveness to get guys who are capable players is showing now.

Most of these guys are too early in their career to pull the plug on. Specifically Cade, Ivey, Duren and Thompson. And those are also your best assets if you wanted to make a significant trade.
