That is a really really good point. Especially if practice fields are also turf (maybe identical, but maybe even a worse surface than the games?)

It’s new York, there’s room for both lol
What sucks is that actually would get me to tune in again
I’m almost always coming from the north NJ side so it’s never been difficult for me to get to but I’m aware that’s not the majority. Agreed on all your points.
Good point, would need to analyze on a per game basis or something like that. But yea it’s interesting that it’s not the even the highest instance with twice as many games.
Absolutely. I’d defer to the professional athletes actually playing on it. If they say it sucks, change it
This is the expected outcome whether they try to win or not.
Yes. I skipped the last 7 or so games of last season and two weeks ago I stopped watching this season. It’s absolutely not worth it to me. I’ll tune in again next year to see what they’ve done, but they need to earn my love and attention at this point and they’re failing.
I don’t think it works. He lucked into what might be the best QB ever to play. Without that he has been very mediocre. I don’t want another defensive minded head coach. It mostly doesn’t work in today’s NFL. Of course there are exceptions, but the whole league rules are written to benefit the offense. You need top offense to win.
Same man. They’ve worn me down so bad, it’s not fun anymore, it’s not worth it. It’s not even the losing, I’m used to that. But it’s the sheer incompetence of the whole organization top down. I still root for them but I’m done watching until they prove they care enough to put out a watchable product.
This is a classic Jets game where there’s no reason they should win but will find a way to fuck around with their draft position in a lost season.
15-14 Jets
Of course. Do you think all these coaches and players grew up not being fans of teams?
Hahahaha several of the teams need to dissolve their franchises before the Jets can make the playoffs
Take a break. Keep them at a distance. If you don’t like it, stop watching. I didn’t watch any of the last 6 or 7 games last season and I stopped watching last week this season. It’s not worth it for me. Much rather spend that time with the family or getting chores done.
This could be pretty funny, like that Bills game a few years ago when both teams seemed to be actively trying to lose
You’re right but it’s all market based on Johnson’s case. He doesn’t need a winning team to be one of the most valuable franchises. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Patriots dropping sharply in value soon.
bought an NFL franchise and been a failure for 2 decades.
It’s not a sporting success. But it’s wildly successful from a business standpoint. He doesn’t need them to win to be happy, and that’s part of the problem. Would be really interesting to see what teams do if their income is tied to their record.
I vote change it to NY fans of the Winnipeg Jets. Those Jets are second in their division and will probably outscore the football Jets most nights.
No way. I’m totally fine with Boyle starting the rest of the year…Or Siemian. He may not be as athletic but he already showed way more football intelligence than Zach ever has
I really don’t care about this. It’s the same as listening to coaches talk in press conferences. Nothing they say actually matters and they can say whatever they want. Hearing from JD in this way solves nothing except massage for fan egos. It’s unnecessary and I wouldn’t believe a word he says anyway. And you be clear that’s not on JD. I wouldn’t trust any gm.
