I agree DRX isn’t a common world champion, they relied on a crazy momentum but in the end they still won… they were the best team in the world at some point.

Like why would it be shitty ? Only Crownie and Trymbi moves are questionable. Everything else is interesting at least.

Thermite isn’t obsolete, but he has become more situational.

Like you pick him only when you need a clear breach, a “big fucking hole”. Most of the time you don’t need that, but there are still many cases where you do. Also thermite can be used to perform a cool trick in certain places : you place it onto a wooden barricade and it explodes the reinforced wall behind it, this way you can avoid the bandit tricking

On the balancing side :

-I would rather we give a chance to the new nades, they could be great.

-I like Sledge change, maybe revert him to 2/2, since now nades won’t be as broken, his kit can be buffed again.

-Ace is already too strong as he is, why buff him ? He can basically replace thermite with 3 layers

The rest is fine by me. Not sure what you mean for the Lion change though.

Hmm I think the balancing of the operators is pretty good currently so I think they are doing a fine job. I even think the nade change is pretty good.
Azami needs a nerf but they are already tackling it, I am happy that shields are getting reworked… Maestro buff is something I was waiting for too…

My main move would be to remove most 1.5 from any defender that isn’t a 1 speed/3 armour. I think that is the main issue in the game right now and it’s an easy fix.

Then Fenrir deserves a small nerf too, maybe Solis as well.

I agree about the experience but I disagree with the idea that « people used to play tactical ».

It has always been a nightmare to try and open walls and play tactical in ranked… it’s just not a fun thing to do without team mates.

I can vouch for role swap but I like the idea that Faker would have played for only 1 team in his entire career. Like Faker = T1

Actually I feel like the reception for this change has been quite positive.

It’s objectively a good change in almost every aspect, people won’t play an operator only because it has nades anymore. Will help players anchor too which is good to avoid TDM meta.

I agree we will lose some form of skill expression and some very cool plays you could do. But I think it’s worth it personally…
