Ok I’ll play along what in the last 2.5 games have you seen in Dobbs that makes you think we should continue rolling with him? The guy can’t hit a basic timing route or throw deep. We have stalled on offense the last couple of weeks. And to be honest I would say keep rolling with Dobbs if he wasn’t such a turnover machine. He’s been that way his whole career I do not expect it to get better all of a sudden. Maybe Jaren isn’t the answer and maybe Mullens isn’t either but it’s malpractice not to explore every option possible heading into the bye week.

Dobbs played well the first couple of weeks. It’s just theres too much film on Dobbs now that the defenses are zoning in on his scrambling and making him a pocket passer. An average NFL QB last night shreds that defense last night with quick timing routes but Dobbs cant make those throws.

Im not sure what Hall is but his ball looks better than Dobbs we have to see if he can take care of the ball better

This Monday will be very interesting. The Bears made Goff struggle this past weekend. Dobbs needs to be on it this game. Teams will start to make big adjustments once the tape builds on Dobbs. Also KOC needs to find ways to get JA the ball more too. It’s criminal Dobbs misses him so often.

Exactly you hit the nail on the head. If Kirk was playing he would of hit several plays downfield but he also would of been sacked way more. It’s a trade off but Dobbs accuracy issues hampered the playcalling quite a bit yesterday.

I would imagine they have these guys sign some sort of waiver.

Im not feeling that discouraged after this week tbh. Turnovers killed us.

If JJ is held past his designation window he cannot return this year FYI.

As an avid Vikings fan, Ty Chandler is going to be the starter ROS IMO. Mattison when healthy will always get some carries as he has a different skill set than Ty but as a pure runner Ty has way more juice. I am not sure either will be a fantasy viable starter here on out but Ty has big play ability that Mattison doesn’t have. Will keep monitoring the situation but I think Ty is definitely worth the top waiver claim. He will be the starter this upcoming week with Mattison out.

I am completely sold on Drake Maye and Caleb although has fallen off I still think he’s a stud still. I think this bad stretch is going to be great in the long run for him. He really needed to be humbled. How he responds to this the rest of the year will be critical to him regaining that top spot but I don’t think he falls out of the top 3. As for the other QBs I think most have fallen out of first round grades. I really don’t see it with JJ but he does have good physical tools and a year or two behind Kirk could really help. Someone like Ewers for a trade back into the 2nd could be nice as well for the Vikes. Ewers has accuracy issues sometimes but I like his throwing motion and he seems to navigate the pocket semi well. Penix Jr as a shot in the dark in the 3rd could be fun as well. All in all, after watching all these guys if we don’t get Maye or Caleb I think we see Kirko Chainz back in Minnesota next year. If we commit to bulking this defense and nail our draft picks. I like our shot next year.

I think JHS will be fine. I don’t think he will be a star but let’s give him some time to develop. He has good tools and looks like he has a high understanding of the game. He needs some time to get used to the NBA speed. Lets see what he looks like at the end of this year.
