If we’re on a win streak during voting season and he gets a bunch of highlights every night then he could be a starter. Does not seem likely the way we’re playing but we see flashes so it’s possible. The guy already came pretty darn close to a 5x5 already and it wasn’t even his 20th game.

I’d honestly be surprised if he’s not a reserve though. Coaches vote on that and the fact that most teams focus so much on stopping him says that the coaches around the league are well aware of how good he is.

  • I have my eyes on quite a few people we can nab with those second round picks that I really want to see on this team. Isaiah Stevens, Tyler Burton, Zach Edey… second rounders are usually trade bait but despite the lottery being weak this year, there’s gonna be some steals late in the draft.

  • After the preseason quite a number of talking heads put us in the play-in conversation. IMO that’s where we belong. We’re off to a solid 2-2 start with our losses coming to an expected top 4 team in the West and a team that’s currently undefeated. The rest of the season will be a tug of war between wear and tear on young unseasoned players and their continued development, and I think we’ll end up finishing not too far below .500.

Spurs-Celtics is going to be a spectacle this season. I fully expect them to face each other in the finals multiple times over the next decade or so. People are going to talk about Wemby vs Tatum but I’m more excited to see him match up against the NBA’s original 7’2+ wing. I think he’ll learn a lot from those games playing against Porzingis.

  • I agree with the B’s across the board for the starters. Especially for the Keldon analysis, totally agree with that take. I do think Sochan should be criticized a bit more harshly for his inability to finish around the rim and given a bit more credit for his on-ball defense in the first half. Also I don’t know if we watched the same basketball game if Cedi Osman’s performance is being praised. Devin also doesn’t deserve criticism for the lack of plays ran for him in the second half, but should be scrutinized more for not getting Wemby the ball when he was calling for it down low. Overall though I think all the starters showed a lot of good and enough bad to even their performances out at B’s.
