I’m not gonna make the “Oh indie company” ironic argument here, but considering all the reworks and updates we’ve been getting, new heros, and the insane 2-3 month battlepass cycle, it’s true they’re putting on hard work.

While I do wish they made some updates faster (For hero preference), I understand they’ve been ACTUALLY working hard recently.

That being said, I’d personally prefer if they would make make the battle pass with less content, and focus more on hero reworks, but the games is free, so they gotta make money somehow I guess.

After the shit they did with OW2 and shutting down OW1 for literally nothing but over the top and overpriced monetization, nah mate. Big NAH.

Especially for how long they’ve been in the field.

Just to clarify: alls I’m saying is we aren’t all begging for new content always and are never satisfied…

when I played WoW all I wanted was them to save PvP (and they did OK bringing back point buy for gear) the game just got to expensive for my lifestyle.

I love overwatch. I don’t need a new hero every other pass, the over introduction of new heroes is changing the game A LOT. New maps are always nice . Again doesn’t need to be every other pass. All I care for is a meta shake every 3-6 months. Whether it’s reworked heroes , or blanketed balance changes…That’s the problem with switching to paid battle pass. People only buy them when you attach something flashy to it, so ofcourse there’s pressure now to produce.

Bring back pink mercy at 10$ and watch the bank acct flood. You don’t need to add a rushed hero into the game, hindering gameplay, when all you needed was a decent promo a few times per year

Blizzard and many other companies are constantly teasing their next update. “Oh you don’t like this part, well look what’s coming next month.”

This isn’t gamers fault, game companies now drip feed games. Releasing an unfinished game and slowly fixing it. gamers just want the full game and are hoping the next update will get the game there (it won’t).

People weren’t begging for new content when Elden Ring launched. don’t see people begging for more content for BG3 (again, maybe bug fixes).

But people want an update for OW because it’s not balanced, people want an update for Diablo because it doesn’t feel finished. This isn’t a gamer problem, it’s a development problem.

I’m glad the battles pass isn’t shorter. I often find myself not having anything to strive towards when I reach tier 80. And I usually do before half of the season is Finished. Although I did buy the Lilith bundle which comes with 20 tier skips so they made it faster. I wish it didn’t include 20 tier skips though. I wish you could choose not to get the tier skips.

The main problem is they make such stupid decisions and then leave the game in such a horrible state for soooo long. Exhibit A: Season 1-2, sojourn. Exhibit B: All of Season 6-7.5, Exhibit C: Still Sojourn can still one shot, Exhibit D: Roadhog rework that’s taken 6 seasons, nearly 11 months to do, when the Sombra rework was announced after that and she got released before.

Like sure give it about two weeks but if you just see incredibly terrible reviews like do something faster. Hell they used to even have experimental cards do that. It’s literally just changing numbers in code most of the time, and making an experimental again would just alleviate so much headache from both the devs and players.

I donno i was still playing ow1 till it shut down. I want quality not quantity. But sometimes blizzard can’t do either (4 years for 4 pve missions and 4 heros we would have gotten in ow1 anyway.

Honestly id rather they just fix the matchmaking and the balance

I agree but also disagree. I don’t rly need new things every day, but they have to be faster with fixing/balancing the game. They got better regarding this, but I’m still annoyed if I have to force some obvious problems for 1 or 2 month because they want to bring out big patches.
