Yes. My main used to be Zen. But I became a more versatile support main. Since OW2 I am playing Kirikp and Lucio mainly.
If you remembered OW1 you would know your nade had to be used for yourself sometimes and that two tanks protected themselves much better against it.
Just because of changes in OW2 (passive, 1 tank) you can hit nade now easily twice as often. It’s just not at the same level any more and justifies being adjusted.
The alternative is: There’s an optimal duo of tanks that gets played every time making the rest of the roster irrelevant.
Now choose one.
She had to get 16 nerfs in a row to make her somewhat not overpowered.
At leats every 5 matches you get asked to swap when you are playing a hero that isn’t on the top of a tier list of a content creator. No matter how you perform on that hero or if you want to learn a new hero or if you just went into QP to have some fun.
Equally pathetic when you play tank, the other tank swaps to the counter. Even if it had been a identical matchup before.
I admit, I haven’t missed getting hooked. Sure the ability is the same as before, but it has always and will always feel shit to play against. So I hope after the hype dies down, the pickrate of Hog is going down as well.
The funniest thing about these posts is how the creators of these threads try to convince everyone, that they REALLY don’t leave lots of games. While the penalties only start when you leave 20% or more of your matches.
So was that the reason barely anyone played tank and bithced about it when OW1 was a thing. A situation so bad, that Blizz had to implement a whole system of priority passes in an attempt to fix it. Which it didn’t? Must have been AMAZING fun.
Because the people demanding it are:
Honestly I am tired of trying to remind old players how miserable many aspects of the game where. I would love them to put the last version of OW1 up again and see the people experience and be reminded of its issues.
I agree. Stronger Tanks means even more pressure on the role to perform well. Or pick meta heroes.
Strong support abilities need to be looked at. That’s coming from a support main. Ana nade in OW1 was blocked a lot more easily. And you had to use it sometimes for yourself, because there was no self heal when you went out of LoS. So it was at max 40% as effective as in OW2. And thus needs to be adjusted in my opinion.
There is really just one single point I will bring up, because it’s the only point I have to bring up:
The quality of my matches since the introduction of the leaver penalty has massively improved.
Nice try, Aaron.
/s (if that wasn’t obvious)
6v6 was shit because it created the longest lasting most boring stale metas. Some heroes had ultra low pick rates because they were incompatible with the composition.
And without the mirror match almost unwinnable. The only people who liked that were the top 0.1%.
If you get matched with a Support that only does DPS it means you suck as much in your role as he does. Only way to escape that is to get better.
