I asked the same thing about T1 vs JDG last week. This time, i know nothing about WBG. So please tell me who you think will win, how and under which condition. T1 looked very promising against JDG. My only fear is, that they won’t respect WBG and lose for underestimating them. I think, and i say that for knowing nothing about WBG, T1 wins 3-2.

It’s not going to be a clean 3-0 for T1. WBG, and Theshy has been doing great with his picks. If they are going to fight this series its going to be Theshy doing the heavy lifting. Maybe his picks work against Zeus, and if they do WBG has a chance of winning. T1 are still Favoured to win the tournament.

WBG Champion pool is massive and unlike JDG, WBG is chaotic enough to throw T1 a curve ball.

I foresee a lane swap from TheShy and XiaoHu and maybe even a BP bait into triple ADC pick (Mid,Top,ADC).

I think it will be a pretty close series with WBG winning at least 2 match.

people are forgetting that last year the meta favoured DRX, in this current meta Zeka wouldnt be running around with his Akali and Sylas, current T1 vs WBG is nowhere near close T1 vs DRX, especially when current meta really favours T1

If we really look at just pure performance, T1 is absolutely favored to win, T1’s laning phase is really good at mid and top side, I was a little surprised that guma and keria was not as dominant specially in game 2 where T1 have a kill lead with caith ashe against kalista renata. TheShy is a really coinflip so I don’t really worried but if guma and keria didn’t really step up their laning phase, Weibo can really take a game or 2.

The real world final was yesterday, thus should be a easy 3-1 for T1, they quite literally already have it in the bag

As an LPL fan, I have accepted whatever comes next. Just don’t lose like LNG, go out with a boom.

Edit: But LPL perform the best when expectation is low.

WBG had problem closing games when they had leads; overextended, losing fight they shouldn’t and their rotations and dragon setup are sus. T1 is not a team you’re allowed to do this kind of mistakes, one bad TF and the game is over, one bad setup a dragon and T1 get soul, one misplay and T1 snowball the lead.

If peak T1 show up it should be a 3-0 with one game going the distance because WBG did good in early to mid game, but if T1 final debuff show up we can see a 3-2 for either WBG or T1.

People talk about TheShy counters and God like performance, the thing is Zeus have played better while giving more room in draft to his team because he can blind Aatrox, something not other top have been able to do with the same success and he’s a counter specialist too, so unless Zeus underperform I don’t see him getting gap.

T1 roster looks cracked compared to WBG. Top is the only place i’d give WBG an advantage, if at all.

That being said, they are in finals for a reason. Should be a good series.

It’s really just about who throws harder and griefs more. Who chokes. I think both T1 & WBG are the type of teams that only lose games if their players int and they throw super hard. T1 of course being much more consistent but WBG in good form with no griefing > T1 throw mode. So ya it really is a bit of a coin toss favoring T1.

T1 3-0 or 3-1 weibo. In interviews the youngsters already admitted that they underestimated DRX and it was part of the reason why they lost. They will not make the same mistake again this year and will be fully prepared. I think Weibo is great at adjusting and theshy is on hot streak but the team gap is too much and zeus just has to go even and T1 will win out.

-Zeus will go even with theshy even with top prio.

-Faker will be winning mid slightly with better roams and agency to get bot ahead

-oner will gap weiwei in smite fights.

-keria will giga gap crisp who’s kinda inting rn.

-guma will carry along with faker with the leads that they create/are given.

If WBG loses to T1, the LPL should just disband due to the complete humiliation inflicted by T1. I am ashamed of being an LPL fan. Honestly, I commend NA fans for their resilience in watching their region get stomped repeatedly every year.

    Easy 3-0 T1 average game 25min

I think a lot of people will either say 3-0 T1 or T1 choke in finals for WBG win. In a way, i see this T1 team in a similar position to Lebron James after losing to Dallas while on Miami (2011). Lebron, like T1 was heavily favoured against Dallas but they came up short and ‘choked’ (a reputation that Lebron has yet to shake to this day). However, the very next year Miami and lebron came back to win the chip with Lebron having a stellar series. Goats very rarely get knocked down twice, so given that this T1 team and Faker, are playing the best league we have ever seem from them, I predict a 3-1 T1 with most games being stomps.
