  • He is pretty trash in open maps, to be fair. That you were able to make him work is in spite of his kit, not because of it. Maybe you had a good game and popped the fuck off, maybe the enemy didn’t capitalize on you playing Junk. Usually though Junk is pretty bad against a team that knows what they’re doing because he needs to be pretty in you’re face to get good value and in open areas that’s just not optimal on a hero that can only either walk or minejump which makes them a sitting duck for hitscans.

  • The reason why Pharmercy is so dominant in low ranks is less about mechanical skill and more about a lack of gamesense. The Mercy is stuck with the Pharah, usually flying beyond or at the frontline. Their other support is extremely vulnerable running a Pharmercy. Playing dive comp against Pharmercy just means focusing their insanely weak backline and then forcing the Mercy to disconnect and heal the rest of her team up, which usually ends with an easy clean-up.

  • He’s right and this sub proves it. Look at the top voted comments. No introspection, no self-reflection, almost 99% sure none of them even bothered READING the fucking article and are basing their comments off of the headline.

Gamers are the sort to rage against the machine that they themselves are fuelling. A toxic, sensationalized , moronic bunch. At this point, I say fuck it, good on developers for exploiting our stupidity and getting rich off of it.

I’m done sympathizing with fucking morons who bitch and moan about the status quo that their fellow consumers funded and supported but lack the self-awareness to realize so.

  • It’s the great hypocrisy of gamers. We plead for less crunch time among devs, we plead for less predatory monetization. Yet our wallets say we demand more and more content otherwise we’re jumping ship, and they also say that we’re fine with giving you money in the billions through your monetization schemes.

Honestly, I’m done trying to play the adjudicator towards studios in regards to industry standards because it’s us gamers who fuel it and frankly, we fucking deserve to be screwed over at this point if we still have yet to learn. Plus, at this stage in my life, I can afford to spend obscene money on my games.
