Brig’s pretty good, provided storm arrows are on CD. Otherwise, don’t fight the Hanzo. At all. A good one will beat you 9 times out of 10.

That’s a risk literally every hero in the game has. Counterpicking is the name of the game.
Picking Zen was not a fucking risk. It’s role queue. You know they’ll have a tank. Your value as Zen was essentially innate. All you had to do was keep your discord on the tank and they would melt. Every single time.
People say Brig a lot and rightfully so but I think a Cassidy boosted by a Mercy might actually break the game. There was a time when his right click did the same damage per bullet as his left click AND could headshot.
In the 5v5 format, his hard stun plus right click with the mercy boost would eviscerate every single hero in the game.
Support > DPS > Tank. That’s the order of priority as to who pushes the payload. Supports are usually in the backline and tank and DPS in the frontline. The tank should be the LAST person pushing the cart, they need to extend beyond it to make space. There are of course situations where that can’t be applied for one reason or another but usually that’s how it goes. Supports are usually in the back, so they’re the ones who usually sits on the payload.
5v5 is good because now I don’t have to wait 20 minutes for a game. No one wanted to fucking play Tank in OW1 because it was a miserable experience. Up until support got power crept a couple of seasons ago, it was actually PALATABLE to play tank…
He is pretty trash in open maps, to be fair. That you were able to make him work is in spite of his kit, not because of it. Maybe you had a good game and popped the fuck off, maybe the enemy didn’t capitalize on you playing Junk. Usually though Junk is pretty bad against a team that knows what they’re doing because he needs to be pretty in you’re face to get good value and in open areas that’s just not optimal on a hero that can only either walk or minejump which makes them a sitting duck for hitscans.
Enter Baptiste, the walking Raid Boss.
The sentiment is true but Hanzo shouldn’t have low damage though. He has one of the best tank-busting abilities in the DPS roster through his storm arrows. Pressuring the enemy tank and getting backline picks is Hanzo’s MO.
The reason why Pharmercy is so dominant in low ranks is less about mechanical skill and more about a lack of gamesense. The Mercy is stuck with the Pharah, usually flying beyond or at the frontline. Their other support is extremely vulnerable running a Pharmercy. Playing dive comp against Pharmercy just means focusing their insanely weak backline and then forcing the Mercy to disconnect and heal the rest of her team up, which usually ends with an easy clean-up.
He’s right and this sub proves it. Look at the top voted comments. No introspection, no self-reflection, almost 99% sure none of them even bothered READING the fucking article and are basing their comments off of the headline.
Gamers are the sort to rage against the machine that they themselves are fuelling. A toxic, sensationalized , moronic bunch. At this point, I say fuck it, good on developers for exploiting our stupidity and getting rich off of it.
I’m done sympathizing with fucking morons who bitch and moan about the status quo that their fellow consumers funded and supported but lack the self-awareness to realize so.
It’s the great hypocrisy of gamers. We plead for less crunch time among devs, we plead for less predatory monetization. Yet our wallets say we demand more and more content otherwise we’re jumping ship, and they also say that we’re fine with giving you money in the billions through your monetization schemes.
Honestly, I’m done trying to play the adjudicator towards studios in regards to industry standards because it’s us gamers who fuel it and frankly, we fucking deserve to be screwed over at this point if we still have yet to learn. Plus, at this stage in my life, I can afford to spend obscene money on my games.
Alan Wake 2 deserves a nomination. Really cutting it close with the late entry but my God I loved it. And THAT moment still lives in my head rent free (those who played it know exactly which section I’m talking about)
Ace Combat series
Overwatch is gonna continue to die for years, just like it’s been supposedly dying for the past 8. It isn’t actually going anywhere anytime soon.
Is the bundle expensive? Yes. Am I still buying it? Also yes.
No need for moral high grounds for me. Not if it deprives me of that Sombra skin.
I wasn’t even aware people use the avoid teammates for that. I usually just mute anyone spouting that shit and reserve the avoids for teammates who were playing shit.
