The thing is, they are heard. They receive messages from devs for their ID so they can look into it, they tell them they don’t need to do that. They post their dotabuff, they have 12 abandons in 100 games. They claim to not be toxic, they start cussing out people in their own Reddit thread who don’t agree with them.

Show me a BS complainer and I will show you an Archon 1, pos 4 Mirana arrowing creeps, spam-pinging allies named “Swap commends” who is only interested in farming Behaviour Score in turbo. It is not fair IF people are punished unfairly. What is far more likely to happen, though, is consensus among Dota players that they ARE annoying to deal with. They may not see it, they may not feel it, but most other players do. Time and time again these people show themselves to be incapable of growth.

Life sucks, things go wrong, you don’t get to control every aspect of your life, but you control how you deal with that feeling. I don’t know why people are so hung up on Abaddon not being good. Max Q, get Holy Locket you’re dishing out 422 hp heals on a 5s cd, with a strong dispel in your backpocket. God forbid the enemy lets you have an Aghs, you heal like 475 (talent at that point) for enemies taking 525 damage for 8 (say you’re level 16 once you get ahgs). Has had decent winrate for ages. If you max W you deserve to lose. Pros don’t know everything.

My personal advice is: don’t “main” any hero in Dota. It’s just a poor way to play the game and you’re hindering your own experience. You can learn so much from playing many heroes. It’s okay to have favourite heroes of course, but you should pick those because you like the way they play, feel or look. Picking them based on your winrates is a recipe for disappointment, because that winrate will eventually go down, whether it is by nerfs or just good ol’ statistics.

And while we’re on this stat endscreen topic, can we also remove Outposts captured to replace it with something meaningful?

Honestly, I would trust in everything except the offlane Naga. I’d rather people play their comfort heroes than any proper picks. Except offlane Naga. Never offlane a Naga.

Low Behaviour Score means you are less of a priority during matchmaking, so ofcourse you will have more variance in mmr.

I agree with you. He’s my go to 5 if my 1 thinks about picking a ranged carry. I prioritise Holy Locket over Aghs though. Aghs is just a nice 30 min bonus when I can get it.

It’s even better when enemies try to kill you first (as they should) because it takes so damn long. Pray enemies don’t pick Axe though.
