  • It honestly depends on who you ask, for me right now it’s closer to masters than to Slams.

    Olympics itself is a huge event, it’s near pinnacle in badminton, table tennis, shooting events, swimming but a joke in football world because of the under age 23 rule. In tennis, it was a 750 event according to atp and now it’s 0 point. But ask someone like Novak and he’ll say it’s the equivalent of Grand Slam. I personally love the olympics and its rising importance, I think it’s important for the sport of tennis to grow. Hopefully atp awards points for it soon too, don’t know why they stopped it.



  • You are absolutely right, Sinner will be way better prepared for his next clash with Novak. Sunday, I think Sinner was not 100% physically, and Novak was just playing on an insane level in the 1st set and a half. He was hammering forehands, returning and serving great that put tremendous pressure on Sinner. This are some seriously great times to follow tennis as a fan but eh, social media, what can you even do about it :(
